Beautiful Skin All Fall

Fall is a welcome change from the heat and humidity of summer, but with the cool down comes drier air — and that means drier skin. It’s a seasonal shift that can cause skin to become dehydrated, which not only calls unwanted attention to fine lines and wrinkles, but also to uneven skin texture and discolorations. Here's how to keep your skin looking fresh and youthful this fall:

Hydration Help

As obvious as it may seem, hydration plays a big role in how your skin looks. If you let it dry out, not only will it affect your skin’s appearance, it can also become uncomfortably tight. Just as we change our wardrobes in the cooler, drier month’s it’s important to change your skin care products. This season, step up to a richer moisturizer and, if you are especially prone to dryness, add a hyaluronic acid serum to your daily hydration efforts, using the moisturizer to lock it all in.

Simply Scrub

It may seem counterintuitive to scrub away at dry skin, but a physical scrub is great way to get rid of the dead skin cells that accumulate on the surface of the skin. Not only are these cells responsible for emphasizing wrinkles and dullness, but they can also block absorption of the active ingredients in your skin care products.

Condition Correct

Fall is the perfect time to address skin discolorations and uneven texture that may have become more apparent after summer sun exposure. A vitamin C serum that includes pure stabilized L-ascorbic acid can help to improve skin texture and tone resulting in healthier looking skin.
